What validations do you take to ensure the skill badges are authenticated?
Various validations happen in the backend for each use case
This is where we differ from the existing solutions where all software allows students to enter their skills manually. But in Record, no one can tamper these skill badges with fake information. We will take 2 use cases for now
Use Case #1: Courses
If any course is taken and completed from an EdTech platform, that particular course provider will determine the skills associated with that course. We route that data through their APIs and bring it to our skill repository
Use Case #2: Internships
If a student gives an internship experience as input, it will trigger emails to their reporting manager and then that person will endorse skills to the student.
